For the price I paid the comforter is still fluffy and has not faded at all.

I want to mention that about 90% percent of printed comforters have polyester.
For some reason poly makes the colors last longer. Pure cotton sheets that are multicolored can bleed when washed. And because cotton is a natural fabric: the bleeding will cause all colors to "migrate" and mix in the washer.
Poly is not all bad BTW. It's just best for multicolored fabrics. You are best off finding unicolored sheets that are 100% cotton, but not multicolored.

I have found a comforter that's way pricier ($140) that also uses poly on its printed side. Again poly just makes the printed colors last longer.
