They need to just make a greatest hits line and leave them at this price (or even better, lower).

Maybe they will in a year or two and bring back the Nintendo Selects line. It would be nice but the thing is if games just keep selling anyway then it sort of kills their impetus to do so. Reportedly, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for example just keeps selling like gangbusters even years later.

I'm guessing you could price match this at target, use the 10% off electronics Target circle coupon and then pay with red card.

People say they don't like that this is $40 but gamestop just gave $40 if 5+ games in trade for just the cart...

This might seem steep for an older title but it's able to demand this price because it's easily a contender for best video game ever made. For someone who hasn't played it, a fair price would be about $99

Yep, it is.

Did you rip the game yourself? Did you have to bypass encryption to do so? Are you acting in accordance with Nintendo's EULA?

I own the game and DLC for for switch and wii u - I bought the game and expansion pass twice and I will do what I please with it. When traveling it's just easier to leave those at home - I already have to bring my laptop with me anyway and it plays so much smoother.

that being said, You'll never experience unreleased remastered Goldeneye with that attitude. Its amazing.

Never played BOTW, but wanting to eventually. I'm concerned about the sequel coming out, and then this being a wasted deal when I have time to play the whole series. Legit concern? Or is this just worth buying now while cheap?
The game is worth playing. You will get addicted and when botw 2 comes out you will know the general moves and game play. It's an immersive game with a lot of detail.

Great deal! If you've been on the fence about buying the game, I'd jump on this. I highly recommend buying the expansion pass as well.

I believe there will be other opportunities to buy it for $40. I think I've seen it on sale for $40 before this one.

$20 should be its current value right now...
$40 is Nintendo still milking it to fund BOTW2...
$60 is still possible for this game because it truly is the very best Nintendo game ever, but I am still throwing shades at Nintendo for charging this much as of late ...
TIL "Milking it" === charging what the market will bear

At least if you trade it in or resell its not worth basically zero unlike new games you buy on PS and Xbox. I prefer it this way. It's very similar to iPhone vs Android, you get discounts on androids but then when you go to sell 1-2 years later they are worth far less
