Since there are a lot of people (including me) who have been to locations where they have no idea how to scan the QR code (and made me pay by credit card instead), I wanted to share the locations here:
Cashier did not know how to get the QR code to work:
CA - Sacramento 1802 19th St.
Cashier was successful in scanning QR code:
please add your locations here (state first, then city)

Not sure anyone in the last thread ever found an employee that knew how to bring up the QR code for them to scan... I was going to wait until near the end, so hopefully by then, at least someone will know how to do it. Some of the fast food places here still don't seem to know how their own mobile app orders work.
Not sure what the last thread was about but in this deal you bring up the QR code on your PayPal app to pay with when paying in-store. All the employee has to do is scan the QR with their reader.
Might give this a try this weekend.

I'm still waiting for mine and I'm in the same situation so I will look at your thread to check if anybody answers
I went through the customer service chat in app and they were able to get me the $10 rewards. Took a few hours for them to respond but worked out fine. Gluck!
My store is crap. I used my Paypal QR and then Venmo QR and all it did was beep multiple times.. never went thru and I had to pay cash...anyone went thru this BS?

They have to select payment type of Venmo or PayPal on their screen.
oh so looks like the cashier had no idea how to bill??
The hack is:
1. Buy a $10 gift card with Venmo or PayPal.
2. Get receipt for free item.
3. Fill out survey online (bc phone survey deactivated).
4. Buy 3-item at 2-item price with survey receipt and gift card.
If they can't get the payment to work, don't do step 1. that way, you're not at the register holding your gonads in your hand, and having to pay out of pocket.

I don't get it, I hold them no matter what while I am ordering food.

Not sure I do that.. when I got nervous today at the cash counter, I was scratching my gonads vigorously instead of holding them. You think that might be reason my QR code did not work?
Just bought $10 Panda Express gift card . Should I receive an email or something saying I will get the $10 back ?I checked my PayPal account and I see the $10 charge but no refund or $10 balance. Looks like this is a targeted offer. Waste of $10

i followed the procedure to pay my lunch today for $17, but I am not seeing that $10 credit? did i do anything wrong?
the rep i called said it is for first 400 people only. I didn't have the offer on my paypal account but tried it anyway and it is waste of $10 gift card. Not really a waste cos I can use the $10 gc i bought for food but still wish I didn't do it.
Worked great. Just had to show my barcode from PayPal app. They scanned. Money got out of my linked credit card and got $10 credited into PayPal balance. Was instant!
Was your subtotal over $10 or just your total?

So essentially this deal is dead?? I had it when I loaded it couple days back. Now, I don't see the offer in my PP account!

Prob same for Venmo, don't know, don't it.
PayPal does not have it listed as an offer, but reports are that you only have to use PayPal and it will log .
