Great price on a versatile EDC style knife. An Amazon #1 Best Seller in Tactical Knives. We purchase a couple of these each year just prior to deer hunt season. Holds a good edge. At this price we're picking up a few extra for gifting.

Alternatively, Smith & Wesson's website appears to be offering the same SWA24S for $9.99 with free shipping.

If you're getting free shipping, tacticool is your thing, and you don't mind having to sharpen your knife often then this isn't too bad of a deal. Just don't expect this to be a family heirloom. Watch for screws backing out and have some thread lock handy.

Actually, you'll get most of your downvotes from knife owners and collectors. S&W knives run the gamut from OK for the price to utter garbage, with a lot of variation in material quality and fit & finish.

I own classic and modern blades from Benchmade, CRKT, Buck, KA-Bar, and more. I downvoted b/c S&W sells it's branding out for cheap, Made-in-China, mall ninja, tacti-cool crap. But have fun playing the victim, or whatever it is you think you're doing.

This may seem like a deal, but in reality it's not worth more than $10. Just your run of the mill tacticool gas station knife. It'll be fine for a beater, or something to leave in your tool box or vehicle. When the blade or handle break, you could always buy another.

For cheap knives, I'd look into more reputable brands like Kershaw, CRKT, SOG and even Spyderco has a few affordable models. S&W just has their name put on cheap Chinese knives. They are not know to be good quality at all.
