I had this exact ladder and it cost me around $35k its much cheaper to get a stronger ladder whose legs dont imitate aluminum foil at a bad time.

My 9" scar with metal plates and screws remind me of this everytime it rains.

at the time I weighed around 200lb.
I've got a step ladder. Never knew my real ladder
Nice ladder. Best feature is it's lightness. Easy to move around the house between furniture but it feels shakey when on it. I like the stabilty of the fiberglass version better but it is heavier and a bit more cumbersome to move around. That being said, for a quick trip up and down, I use the Aluminum one but if working for a while on a ladder, I use the fiberglass one.

Just FYI for anyone going out to get one of these, my Lowes had moved their entire inventory out of the ladder aisle off to some random section of the store for a Werner promotional display. They didn't do it for all Werner models, only this one.

I don't think so... This is for in store stock clearance and not a warehouse sale.

How many ladders do you have? I just want one ladder to do everything. Pretty sure most of us use ladders pretty sparingly. If you use them alot, don't cheap out on something like this and get something you can rely upon.

Slickdeals had the a werner fiberglass 8ft for $50 not too long ago. Fiberglass is more durable, safer around electrical wire, and less wobbly than aluminum.

1 ladder to do everything means a heavy ladder. Most people get tired of lugging around their Little Giant ladder or even fiberglass.

About as light and convenient to move but the platform step makes it more comfortable to work on for hours.

And substantially heavier 30lbs for the fiberglass and 20lbs for the aluminum Peace
