Avoid. Day one it was leaking water through the bottom of the pressure washer. I didn't return it because it still worked even at half it's pressure. Few months later, the wheel decided to fall off. Now a couple years later, the leaking water is now gushing water. And yesterday it decided to stop working. I've only used it a total of 10 times or less in 2 years.

Exact same situation here. It leaks out of the base, which causes it to lose pressure. Definitely something internal and not the hose connection.

I recently bought a sunjoe dethatcher and I'm very happy with it for the price. It did exactly what it needed to. Yes it's plastic, yes it's electric, but it worked as advertised.

What does a dethatcher have to do with a post about a pressure washer??

The 2300 PSI Ryobi is much nicer and the #1 pick by Wirecutter, but it's also $300. Not sure about this particular Sun Joe model, but the Sun Joe SPX3000 (2030 Max PSI 1.76 GPM, 14.5 AMP) is one of the best selling electric pressure washers and the "budget pick" from Wirecutter. I've been using and abusing my SPX3000 for over 5 years without issue. I use it for washing the cars w/ a foam cannon, composite decking, patio furniture, and siding. Its not great for concrete though; its best to use something with higher PSI and GPM for concrete. Anyway, I've had success with the Sun Joe brand and at this price, I might try to find this at my local Sam's Club. I think this is really good bang for your buck.
How's your SPX3000 for washing sidings on a 2-story house? Does it have enough power to spray to the higher level?

It works well if you're just using it to wash cars. Pair it with a Amazon foam gun and some concentrated high foaming soap, it'll do the job.

I've had the same model for about 2 years and it's still working - I wish it was less plastic-y though. It feels like it will break but so far it's been ok. I wash my car biweekly, sometimes weekly. Before this model I had a older sunjoe model and it was on its way out. The compressor or whatever motor that's inside would sometimes work sometimes don't. I gave jt to a friend and he used it for another year

Can you share which Amazon foam gun? I've got a sun joe in transit from a previous sd and want to do exactly what you're suggesting

My son details cars so we have used multiple foam cannons. Maxshine on Amazon provides the best foam lather but even the cheap ones work pretty decent.

I have purchased 2 already and neither made it through a full season. I will not purchase a Sun Joe again

We have the SPX3000 so not identical model but ours has been great. Have had it for a few years. Use it 10-15 times a year to wash cars and pressure wash our house and decks.

Has worked very well. We have not had the issue where some people are leaking out the front where the hose attaches, but have read many times that if that happens, sun joe will send out a metal free replacement to replace the plastic part.

I'd get it if it were the Joe Pesci brand.

any comment on this washer?
It does the job. The body is cheap plastic. The hose attachment is plastic too. Has a nice slim design for storage purpose. A big annoyance was that the bigger nossle constantly falls off of its storage spot. Bad design. Not a big fan of the typical hose so I returned it the other day. Placed an order for the Greenworks brand that's on sale from Costco.com because it has the flexible hose.

Would this be efficient for power washing my house? Just the face of the house, not the driveway

For siding that is higher up, I use a pole mounted soft brush (Mr. Longarm) after spraying on a cleaning solution with a garden hose sprayer. Then simply rinse it with a hose. An alternative is to use an extension pole on your pressure washer. Lowes had some extension poles on clearance recently. The soft brush is safer to use on siding though. However for ground level siding I do sometimes use my pressure washer and make sure to angle it down and use a 45° tip.
