Add 25% off Coupon code in cart (works for whole cart if you order 2):46692910
This effectively lowers your out-of-pocket spending and taxes. Note: It will reduce your rewards payout. You only earn what you pay (less taxes). This makes it easier to liquidate rewards as you won't have to spend as much later to use them.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Good luck finding something to buy later with your rewards that is not horribly overpriced.
Rewards no longer roll as they used to many years ago for % back in rewards deals. Only for specific $$ back deals now.
Don't use rewards to purchase any % back in rewards deals. You will only earn rewards for any out-of-pocket you pay, after all discounts, coupons, rewards. The best trick is to price match something you will use for the rewards spending.

So how is $15 better than $0? Anti-slick.

Apparently, you don't know that they price match. Including Amazon, Walmart, other locals.
Worst case, you can buy stamps with rewards. Just do so on a sep purchase than anything earning rewards like this.
Batteries leak.
Cheaper at Costco.
Duracell sucks.
Over priced.
OD sucks.
Some other lame statement.

Ok now that is out of the way, let those of us who know how to make this deal work profit in peace.

PM Amazoon = $12.78 for AAA and $11.19 for AA bateries in 16packs.

or

PM Walmart 16pack (AAA or AA) for 12.78 or 24 pack (AA) for 16.25 if your store is out of 16pack sizes.

Note: what I do.... Real Slickdealers know to purchase the batteries, and when the rewards come in you purchase whatever household items you would have from Walmart, Target, best buy, etc. At office Depot and have office Depot "price match" the competition price, and use rewards to pay for it. ( Wash, rinse repeat, & save).

How do you ask Office Depot to price match?

Just advice from a home owner. If you plan to use these for small things that don't use a lot of power like a remote control, a smoke alarm, etc., these are great. However, if you need them for something more robust like a smart lock, a digital dead bolt, outdoor cameras, etc., you should wait for a deal on the Energizer Lithium. Testing has indicated these last 2 to 3 times longer, but I can claim that they last even longer. These copper heads will last 2 months tops on a Kwikset deadbolt, but the Lithium's are 2 months in an still at 95%. I feel since they produce more power, there's less lag, and less force, so less draining. I can't believe how long they last. These go on sale on Amazon when you subscribe so you can stretch out the sub to every 6 months. Just a thought for you all.

Ar checkout, I just show Walmart app with item price on my phone and they adjust the price. Only one item though.

this isn't a deal. costco has 40 double a for $15 right now.
Agreed, this is NOT a deal for anyone, especially those with access to costco.

I bought them last week at costco (just north of Boston) for $13.99, and they're only $16.99 regularly. Heck, buy the costco brand (made by Duracell) for $16.99 and get 48 batteries any day of the week.

Pay the 5% upcharge if necessary/if you can and get a much better deal.

Nope. NET cost is only the sales tax, after rewards are used to purchase a PM'd item or two that you need, next time. Rewards post within a day or two.
I guess this is the first thread like this you've noticed in over a decade, or else you have never read the way the deal works within those threads. It is explained in even more detail in the last one I posted. I like to give back to this community, so I hope to turn some on to this money maker. I see many just posting thread crap after only seeing the OP, but those who pay attention can profit.

"Rewards are limited to 2 items per member"
Does this mean 2 of each item, or 2 items total?

2 total across all items. Not 2 per sku.

Why are folks still buying non-rechargeable batteries? The applications for specifically non-renewable batteries is small at this point.

Because these batteries:
  • are a way to earn $2 per ink cart I recycle to earn $20 more each month in rewards by meeting my $10 monthly spend requirement.
  • are net free-ish.
  • make me money on all the spares I won't use, and therefore sell.
  • make good gifts or helpful donations.
  • last longer than rechargeables per single cycle.
  • require no maintenance.
There are few devices that require rechargeable, so these are pretty much universally applicable.
