I guess because I entered the Jackery contest that I got an email that said a sale starts today that will be on everything.

It says everything will be 15% off from 10-18-21 to 10-20-21.

The site says it will be on Amazon too and then a Discover card should be an extra 5% cash back, almost make up for my tax charged then.

Not going to buy it until it changed to LiFePo4. Cheaper model don't really matter, but overt $500 want to use it for a while.

My sister bought this and keeps calling it a generator. its just a battery. no no no its a genertor.

I guess technically they're as much a generator as any others. Since energy is never truly created, just converted from one form to another. Gas generators go from chemical to mechanical to electrical. Batteries go from chemical to electrical.

It's as much a generator as a gas generator. I think the misnomer here is actually calling a gas generator a "generator", since they're not actually generating energy. Though, they do generate electricity (from chemical energy.... just like a battery does)
