I buy these every time they offer this up. But I need to tell you that the Rewards NEVER EVER EVER show up in your account unless you call customer service at least once and up to 4 times. I am still waiting for my $25 Rewards from their September offer and I'm actually starting to lose hope. A bit about calling Office Depot: Your call is usually routed to a contracting company in South America. The employees "kind of" care, and there's a lot of feedback from poor call quality. You will eventually grow tired of the music as you wait in the queue. Ask yourself, "What is my time worth?". If you have a lot of free time on your hands then this is the offer for you.

I've never done this deal before, I did read the first comment which was helpful, but any other major tips to know, I've heard these may not work exactly like regular gift cards as in if there is a small dollar amount remaining you must use the exact precise amount or something strange like that?

Honestly their gift cards are useless. Plus, they never have anything in stock online. If some is on back order you cannot use a gift card to make an order. Besides the point that everything is overprice. I have $200 that I have no clue what to spend on. If anyone wants to buy at 20% off, let me know.

This deal isn't for OD gift cards - its for HAPPY gift cards that you can redeem for gift cards at a variety of place....LOWES, for instance.

It has "print offer" button but since there's no barcode with it, I presume no need to print anything - just buy in-store and give them the phone number. Is that correct?

Also right next to this deal there's the $2/cartridge ink recycling deal. It's obviously standard thing by itself but what brought my attention is the fine print underneath.

Since OD has gone from NYC, as they call it self deportation, I decided that the tolls are not worth it to do business with OD.

If you have pictures of the original offer and your original receipt, i would escalate this by complaining to your credit card company or the BBB. Either should be sufficient to get results, although with CC chargeback, OD might "retaliate" by "breaking" your rewards account for future use. Be careful and good luck!
