I bought these a couple of years ago refurbished for about the same price. I wanted something more secure than my Airpod Pros for running and biking. They worked great. The recharging case stopped working on one side after after 10 months and JBL sent me a brand new unopened set as a replacement.

They're "waterproof". I've tried different waterproof audio things in the past and most did not survive particularly sweaty workouts. What's the IPX rating on these? I couldn't find it, even on the specifications tab.

Also, if anyone has used these, do the touch controls freak out when you sweat on them or they otherwise get wet? I haven't found anything that can both survive water and not have the touch controls get randomly activated by perspiration or preceptation.

These are only $59.95 on amazon new because there is a newer model. $119 original price is a bit of a stretch but might be a decent deal. Reviews aren't that great though or I would have pulled the trigger. I'd like a pair for running that stay in better than my airpods.

JBL is my favorite brand for everything audio but ever since the founder died, Harman was sold to Samsung, now the JBL quality and design isn't what it used to be...

Bought it straight from JBL and had to return twice within the first month.
Both had the same problem, one piece wouldn't charge in the charging box no matter how many times you take it out and put it back and adjust.
Sound was ok not great.

mirroring other comments. I too have had these. and I, too, had one side crap the bed until they were unusable. It broke like a month out of warranty and I now have a paperweight.
