To find a Chromebook with 1080p display under $400 is pretty much impossible
My dad uses a Chromebook for one purpose and that's watching Youtube videos.
If anyone can recommend a Chromebook with a 1080p display (Ideally 13" and up) please recommend it to me.

The reasons are
1) This Samsung Chromebook has a very limited number of USB ports (only 2, 1 type C and 1 Type A) while the Lenovo C340-11 has 4 USB ports (2 type A and 2 type C)
2) the Lenovo has a touchscreen and is "flippable" which seems more much usable for me.
3) The Lenovo has a much better IPS screen than this Samsung....read the reviews on the Samsung...the screen is not very good at most off angle viewing.
I wish I could have picked up the Lenovo C340-11 for $74 recently on closeout at Walmart but I still think $125 is a good price for it. It is a 2019 model but it has updates through June '26.
While the screen viewing angle sucks, what doesn't, is the brigthness. It's a matte screen so outside on a porch or patio, you'll have excellent brightness and not be wanting for more. Also, it's $87! It's far more capable for any comparably priced tablet and I'd go so far to say that it is better at browsing than an iPad which I absolutely hate browsing on.
Also, I'm so tired of hearing "it's a Celeron in 2021" or somethning along those lines. Yes it is a Celeron but it's a Chromebook made for online applications only and not heavy lifting. If you need that, then a Chromebook isn't for you. The Celeron N4020 is perfectly snappy for browsing, Netflix, YT, and editing of Google Docs which is what this was made for. If you need more, buy a Windows laptop.
