An Apple Watch is always the best choice for an iPhone user. Both devices are designed to work with each other. Plus, the Galaxy Watch isn't as useful with a non-Samsung device.

Galaxy Watch 4 doesn't work with iPhone. I use iPhone but I wanted a round watch, so I got a Garmin instead though it is less "smart" than Apple Watch.

I had the Gear S3 Frontier and moved to the Watch 4. I like the Watch 4 better. It is about an oz lighter weight, I didnt expect to care about that but I do like the lighter weight. I mostly use the watch for notifications and that is better but could be just personal preference. The voice to text works better. My nearsightedness isn't that great and I could make out the notification text better when not wearing glasses. For me that was the biggest improvement.

If you use Samsung pay with the Gear S3 you loose MST ability but that was a feature I never used (do use it on my phone however). Google Maps on the watch is nice while driving.

Probably a Fitbit. It sounds like all you need is a basic fitness tracker with a screen, such as the Inspire or Charge.

@Samsung site it's $208 for 40mm with epp/edu discount. Also upto 10% cb from famous cb site.
I stuck with the Galaxy Watch 3,
for some reason it seemed like a downgrade and the 3 looks nicer anyway.
3 classic is better.

Is this model better than the previous version? I read the Wear OS is still buggy.

It still has its bugs, but it's considerably more stable than the last version since they finally switched over to Wear OS, albeit with one UI slapped over it (Galaxy watch 3 was using Tizen OS)

I have been using this watch for a few weeks. Very nice watch, works great, smooth apps, etc. Battery life isn't great, but I just charge in daily when I charge my phone,

The 44mm is a bit bigger but read that has a bigger battery as well, wondering if its still good for female hands....

Can anyone get an epp account with Samsung?

Still have an unopened 44mm active 2 lte with brown leather band that I got bundled with an A71 5G purchase. Is it worth upgrading ?
If your current one is still in the box unused, then probably not haha. All kidding aside, I went from the active 2 to the 4 and don't really notice much difference at all. I'm also not a heavy user tho. I did notice the battery life on the 4 is worse
