For those thinking about buying now and then price matching if it comes up cheaper on Black Friday, note that Best Buy's price match guarantee does NOT apply to (the week of) Black Friday sale prices:
Exclusions apply including, but not limited to, items sold by Marketplace vendors, competitors' service prices, special daily or hourly sales, and items for sale the Friday before Thanksgiving Day through the Monday after Thanksgiving
Don't buy either now.. wait a month .. the Covid spike in prices will abate when retailers compete for your $$$ on Black Friday
Those tvs are usually made with lesser parts and specific for Black Friday.
30 day return period, buy the 6 series with Roku(not GoogleTV, it gets bloated and slow after a year) and just price adjust if it does drop for Black Friday.
What is the difference in the 635 6 series, 625 6 series and the 5 series? I bought the 625 like 16 months ago if not longer. Only paid $600 for the 65 inch
The 65" isn't available with Roku? How's Google for smart TVs?
I too think I'll wait for another $100 off this level. A 65" 5-series for $599 isn't bad considering the chip shortages.
I love my Rokus.... But Google TV is starting to edge them out due to better performing apps (like HBO MAX, Disney+) and the ability to sideload any app imaginable and IPTV functionality.

The 625 was 2019, first year with Quantum Dots in the 6 series, better FALD than previous year. Good purchase. I got 2 for around $550 each end of that year from R A K U cashback deals
The 635 was 2020, first year with MiniQLED backlighting in 6 series. Prices never seemed to get as good but it was Covid y.
This new 546 model is 2021, second year with Quantum dot in the 5 series maybe. First sets with Google TV instead of Roku on these ones. Almost as many zones as the old 625 so closer to the standards of the older 6 series but check the max brightness and stuff for equivalence.
The new 646 models are 2021 as well, with MiniQLED still, but I believe now with HDMI 2.1 as a first for 6 series, also with Google TV instead of Roku for now. Not sure how much improvement on PQ vs 625 or 635, but prices are so far much higher for equivalent models and they seem to be pushing as semi equivalent to last years 635 as there is a Roku vs Google option menu on Best Buy that takes you back to 635 lol.
I'd hold off and enjoy your 625.

Nahh.. I think all those excuses will disappear when the real competition to grab the $$$ starts 😄
Well, last year's black Friday was the same as 2019s, I don't expect anything cheaper this year either. Especially with semiconductors been a problem over a year now too.

It says there's a Roku and a Google version. Select Roku
Or don't.
Just a personal preference but the OS speed on my Roku TCL tvs deteriorated so quickly I sold one and got an Android TV version and bought a Chromecast for the other.
