Just wondering, can Asus mesh router and tp-link mesh devices compatible ? I love my router Asus GT-AX11000, but I need to add at least one remote mesh to get better coverage in my garage and front of the house area, and just wondering if I use da tp-link Deco or the link with it in mesh mode? TY

"2 Fast Ethernet ports 10/100Mbps" - This kills the deal....
Completely agree - the W in it's name stands for Walmart version - which is a stripped down, lower tech version. I mean, for the average person, this is fine, but for $20 more you can get the regular version (Deco S4) Deco S4[amazon.com]
If you go with the 3 pack, Amazon has a $20 off coupon - 2 pack is $99, 3 pack is $149 - 20 coupon.
10/100mbps port will cap the transfer at 100mbps. I don't see the point in having AC in the naming. AC protocol support up to 500mbps.
Agreed - this is needlessly limited by the physical interface. The only scenario this would be acceptable for would be someone that wants an easy *mesh* setup and has an internet plan lower than 100mbps in both directions (up/down). Crazy something like this exists.
Any recommendations for a router/mesh setup? Currently just have what Xfinity supplied which I believe is a router/modem-in-one but get spotty service when trying to watch movies on 2nd floor(2-3bars/5). We have 400 Mbps service for 5000 sq ft house which is a finished basement plus 3 floors. Just looking for something with reliable wifi, can't imagine using Ethernet cable much. Just interent browsing with streaming kids movies sprinkled in.
