Rang up full price in store. Also be aware the Ethernet port only accepts up to 100mbps, so if you have gig fiber for example it will only use 1/10th of your internet connection.

Thanks for the heads up. Huge deal breaker imho as most connections these days are 100+

just ran across your comment when looking for a new router. we now have fiber and i want to be sure to get hte correct model... how do i know if the ethernet is gigabit for sure?

The specs should say 10/100/1000 Mbps on the ethernet port, though they dont always make it easy to find that info. On the WP2400 page for example due to outcry from angry owners they added a asterisk and mentioned it can only do up to 100Mbps at the very bottom. I dont think its common for the ports to max at 100 though.
