Well if you say that, then might as well say that g routers are probably fine for most people. What's the point of having AC speed with ethernet from 20 years ago? This is advertising ac1200 which means concurrent 267 and 800 speed. What's the point of having that if your input WAN ethernet speed already chops the speed to 100? 10/100 ethernet should be outlawed in AC devices.
Wireless AC1200 for those wondering.

Such a terrible comment. At $53, 95% of the buyers are going to happy with this. 100mbs port is fine unless you are planning to run a switch from this.

If the WAN port is 100mbs, that is kinda limited but not for a lot of households.

Supposedly, but I just connected some x20s and x60s and it broke the Ethernet wired backhaul

1) AC Router > G Router just on the age of the processor and RAM and antenna tech alone.
2) Link to the more affordable G mesh network?

Of course ac routers are better than g, duh. That's not the point. If your argument is that 10/100 is probably fine for most people, then chances are those people wouldn't even notice g speeds. If you are going to build ac hardware why limit it to 100 speed? That's like putting a speed limiter on a Porsche at 65 mph.
