You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Your monthly credits continue, even if the device is paid off. So you would pay it off, unlock it, then continue to get the remaining balance credits each month

Anyone else who had problems with the previous deal due to having a government discount on their account able to do this one? I got slightly further in the process than last time, but now it says to wait and try again later.

I did the Costco BOGO deal two weeks ago, but we are having issues with getting the rebate processed from T-Mobile. Considering just canceling that and returning with Costco and going this route since we still have our 11s.

That being said, a lot of people are saying just wait for the rebate to come since it's prepaid and THEN do the returns.. but idk if I like how dirty that makes me feel 😅😂 they are expediting the rebate to 10-15 business days (they claim) with how much of a hassle it's been

No need to pay it off because you trade-in with BB not T-mo. You still getting your monthly credit as long as you keep that line active. I already traded-in 2 phones that still under EIP.
