You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Yeah. Not much difference on newer phones but older stuff got shafted.

Family member traded in a 16GB 6S Plus for $260 total (-100 -100 - 60). Pretty insane value considering how old it was.

Nope. You're buying the phone with free activation of newer R15 sim.

Sometimes BB employees add the sim card on the bill, but they cant mess with that if you buy though the site.

Trade in : is "market value" + bonus amount off the top.

Read through 37 pages of comments before pulling the trigger. Was able to complete the process online for instore pickup. There were only 2 left near me, so *fingers crossed* I get the pickup email soon.

Trading in an unlocked 12 for a 13. I hope they can unlock it for me sooner than later as I'm going to be travelling with it. *fingers crossed again* that tweeting out to T-Mobile will get it done within 5 days like some have noted.

FYI -- I'm in Texas. Taxes were only charged on the final amount, not the listed price.

Tried to post a pic, but it wont let me... or I can't find the appropriate place.

I still can't see why there would be an issue. The account holder can purchase phone on the BB website and set the name of the pick up person.

Not really much difference from buying the phone outright and shipping it to a specific address. Account holder would have to activate him/herself though BB site.

Yes, she has to sign off on the phone, but thats confirming that she's owner of the specific device. Yes, maybe CA is different?

The trade in is to Best buy specifically. The phone is basically pawned for market value. I'm not exactly sure of the legal clauses involved with that since the phone is likely being purchased in tandem to start with.

Traded in my 12 pro for a 13 pro for $100. Really slickdeal. Everythign went fairly smooth at bestbuy except the standard employee miscommunication where they kept thinking it was a new line not a port from verizon. I had to keep correcting them.

Don't make appointment. Add the phone to the cart and choose Upgrade to apply the trade in credit and finish checkout. If you go in store they can't replicate the deal.
