You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

For me I just upgraded from 12 pro max to 13 pro max with mere $125 plus tax after using 12 pro max for 9 months. So not bad for me.

I also got rid of my iPhone XS max for which I got the value of $500

It's YMMV, Few reps don't care and all they need is you know the last 4 social of account holders and a phone number from the account which can receive OTP. But few reps are very strict on the term that account holder needs to be present for activation.

Stupid question, I would not be locked into a 2-year deal or anything w/ T-Mobile correct? I see I can get it unlocked after a certain period, and it appears plan does not change, but am I locked into a 2-year plan for whatever reason?

Just did this tonight. I have a grandfathered plan and don't want to pay $XX more per month for a magenta plan, so this was a good deal for me. I traded in an XR and reserved it online, then went in to pick it up. Their system wanted to give me $5 less for my trade-in than my email receipt said, so I asked the guy if he'd make it right, and he credited me $5 at the end.

Not sure how long this deal will last, but generic 13's are sold out at most stores around me, and I'm in a pretty big city. It was for my wife and she was cool with a pink one, but any other color and I'd be SOL.
