You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Trade-in devices will never come back. No matter where you do the tradein bestbuy, verizon, att, apple etc etc..

Ended up activating a week later since it was "free".​ .

It says all rate plans apply but when I go through the process only unlimited plans are shown in Best Buy. Am I missing something here?

So why do they ask your driver's license and SSN if there isn't a 24 month contract? Is my bill going to be sent to collections if I let my service lapse after a month?

Can you really cancel this line at any time, without paying an early termination fee?

it's to confirm ownership of the service. The phone number entered will transfer to the new sim they provide.

Some people say you need to stay on tmobile for 40 days, others say t-force will unlock the phone in 2-3 days. YMMV.

yeah. But if they put a hold on his card and he decides to keep his device (same as returning the iPhone 13 for credit in his scenario) then he will be charged that amount, which is even worst lol

This "new" deal is just a modification to a deal from iPhone 13 launch. To date, anyone who clicked "T-Mobile" for the trade-in phone has been able to hand in carrier SIM restricted phones from MVNO or other carriers. It is NOT part of the routine check for trade-in. Book the deal by clicking what you need to about your "T-Mobile" trade-in phone and then go in for pickup and see what happens.

If you have a broken/cracked screen, different color phone than stated, different storage size, or the IMEI is blacklisted as "stolen," you will have issue during trade in.

It's variable now with this ridiculous chip shortage, although Apple has the spigot open for the phones. Should be a couple weeks.

Early mornings. Keep refreshing. If you are asking which particular day, it would depend on each store. At one store I went to, I asked the rep if they get daily shipments. He said they get new stock twice a week

Yes, you can put your existing sim. BUT, this process depends on the rep that you get. Some will simply give you the iPhone 13 with the sim card taped to the box. Others will fully open up your iPhone 13 and go through the setup process in order to confirm that the phone is working.

I did 4 upgrades, 3 of them were fully opened. One was given to me untouched, the rep just scanned the bar codes.

This is awesome the amount of trade in they are offering. I went yesterday to trade in my iPhone 11 gave me 550 off just had to pay the balance of 273.26 up front and I walked out the door with new phone. Choose iPhone and choose closer location with in stock option and check out online much easier
