You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

I'm trying to trade in my Iphone 12 pro max for a 256 GB Iphone 13 and it says I can't since the value of my phone exceeds theirs.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Depends on the store. At some stores, you can order for a future pickup date. I don't know how stores handle this. Some stores let me order for pickup an estimated 2 weeks later and other stores completely did not let me order.

You can still order but they will give you a date somewhere in November. That date is just a date. There's no guarantee that you will get the phone on that date, but hopefully you will. Time will tell. But if you able to find a store with stocks, then you able to pickup right away when BB tell you your order is ready. So good luck hunting!

Does this present an issue if my current line has an equipment plan discounts? I want to trade an older phone (iPhone 8) by putting in my current SIM card and then once new phone activated, change to my current phone (iPhone 12). iPhone 12 is on equipment plane with T-Mobile. And then give the iPhone 13 to my cousin to use for t-mobile.

Was able to trade in my 12 mini that was still on EIP. Credits are still showing up on my T-Mobile account.

Guys need some suggestion currently I am not on T-mobile. I plan to port my number to my friends T-mobile account thereby replacing one of his existing lines with my ported number.

However I don't won't to loose this deal as porting of number might take couple of days.

If I order the phone on my friends T-mobile account existing line and thereafter port in my number to replace that line. Do you guys see any issue or complication with this?
