You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

None on my end, it was pretty much I reset my phone, handed it off to them. The rep gathered my info, took the IMEI from my old phone, then scanned the new phone, SIM card, and signed during check out. It was pretty flawless, less than 15mins I was in and out of my local Best Buy.

Silly question but when they say existing cuatomers upon activation, they are talking about just activating the phone with a sim right? Nothing changes on your account/plan/promos/addons, just a new phone with tradein of existing phone?

Traded in my iPhone 12 Pro (256 GB) for $900 and paid $235 OTD. Due to the new ultra-wide band, i was told to use the SIM card that comes with the phone. I had to call my carrier to transfer over the SIM info from my old one.

As for backing up your old phone, just plug it into your Mac and do a full backup from Finder. I don't know how it works on PC.

If you use the BT transfer method, it took me 70 mins to complete. I had about 150 GB of data.

Finally was able to checkout. I upgraded (2) 12 pros to 13 pro. Figured for $100 each it was worth it. I'm on a Simple Choice plan with T-Mobile and didn't have any issues in store.

Is there any fees besides buying the phone? i.e. activation/sim fees? its not a hot enough deal if I also have to pay some activation fee too.
