They can check IMEI. The same IMEI that is active on the account and on the line I am upgrading. They have my credit card info if they want to charge back.

If I'm not the account owner ..

Is the social is sufficient . Or they need the driver license or tree owner if the account to be present ?

thru online checkout it asks for primary account owner's last 4 digits of their social.

Placed 2 orders a while back (On the previous deal). My local Best Buy is now showing 1 of the exact iPhone I want in stock as of a couple hours ago. They had no stock earlier this evening. Still no update on my orders. Does this mean there's a chance my phones also arrived on the truck and haven't been scanned yet?

I did the same upgrade. Didn't make sense to skip and wait for another deal since this was so easy and cheap. You can request an unlock right away though, just send a copy of your Best Buy invoice which shows the IMEI (not usually needed but easier to just send with your initial request) - you can message T-Mobile on FB/Twitter. Takes 3-4 days to unlock now that they're so busy with all of these unlocks.

Had a similar issue where verification codes were being sent and then all of a sudden I stopped receiving them, but this is usually after a good number of times. Other numbers in the plan worked but also stopped working after several codes.

I think the issue is that Best Buy's verification system is stuck on the last verification code sent, and it's not sending a new one as a result. Try entering the last verification code you received, and it should tell you that the code is expired — I'm guessing this tells the system to resend a new code because it's still expecting the old code. Then request another code right after and you should get it second time around. That worked for me, and hope it works for you!

Found one in Mission Viejo. Ordered it. Any way to have Best Buy send it to another location in LA and then pick it up there? Also, do you just need to trade in iPhone 12 or also the cable that came with it?

I suggest placing another order to snag that device. But that's the OCD side of me talking. That side did help me get my Pro Max.

I finally got the verification code to work right after midnight. Pretty obvious backend issue in their system. Using iPhone 13 pro now which I picked up tonight. Happy camper here.

I placed an order a iPhone 13 Starlight on Oct. 11th that was scheduled for pick up tomorrow Oct 22nd but now the order doesn't have a date attached.

What's going on?
