You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

If I borrow my friend's T-mobile acct to get this upgrade deal,
when Best Buy activates the new iPhone 13 with a new SIM card to my friend's number in his T-mobile account, won't that screw up my friend's current phone number?

Because my friend's existing SIM card and my new SIM card will be both linked to the phone number he is using.

I have had this issue since yesterday noon when trying online using their website… I had been to store directly to give a try but ended up with same issue there as well… Not receiving text verification code to complete the order !! Best Buy sales rep had asked me to go to T-Mobile store and check why am I not receiving text code, but T-Mobile store rep told me that they don't see any issue on their side and there should be some system glitch within Best Buy website !!

As for in-store, the message would be "Can't add or change a line on this account."

I have a business acct. These are the messages I've received everytime I tried to complete the order. Summarily, bus acct is ineligible. Have anyone been successful?
