You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Good luck!

Do you know if the phone will be locked to Mint (if that's the first SIM I use)?
I put in my Mint eSIM and it worked while I had the T-Mobile SIM in there already in an unactivated state when the phone prompted activation at the time of setting it up at Best Buy. No lock whatsoever.

Is that "T-Mobile Help" in Twitter?
Yeah, "T-Force" is just T-Mobile's social media team (for Facebook [facebook.com] or Twitter [twitter.com]).

Anyone else getting the issue once the site tries to connect with T-Mobile when you put in your phone number and SSN where it just gives you an error and tells you try again later?!?

Yes. Been getting this for a few days now and it appears from some of the replies here that many others are experiencing the same thing.
I went in to my local BB to do this in person but the BB reps were having the same problem - they could not initiate the trade/purchase. Said it was a glitch with their system since they called TMO and there is no problem at that end.
BB rep said they would put in a ticket order but I am not holding out hope that anyone will bother to call me back if this gets resolved. They seemed pretty uninterested in getting this fixed and just shrugged it off as TMO being new to their system.

I did do one trade in when the promotion first went live without any problem - ordered online and did in store pick up a few days later.
I will keep trying on the website..

I know there's been a lot of talk in this thread re: trading in phones that still have payments to be done on them; but I don't see anything on phones that are part of the iPhone Upgrade Program. Do I need to pay that all off before turning my phone in?

I see that carrier specific ( ATT & Verizon) are only on sale for 150. Can that be used for this deal ?

Yes it's fine. You can test it by selecting ATT on the drop down option.

Have a couple iPhones to trade in, only one T-Mobile line. Can I do this deal twice on one line?

I was able to get two new iPhones (Pro and Pro Max) by creating new T Mobile account solely for getting good value in tradein. Luckily I was able to unlock both the devices within 24 hours through the T Mobile App.

Now the question is how long do I need to keep the account open and accrue the billing? Should I just cancel the account and pay for couple of days usage. How does T Mobile do partial month billing?

I've having the same problem for few days. Went to 4 different bestbuy locations, they all no problem accessing the tmobile account but have problem check out the phone. Then all of them would told me because they fixed the system, and I have "grandfather" plans (business plans and that some tmobile plans that have special pricing or very low pricing plans) would not work for this promotion.

I have to use my bf acc to do the trade in. But on the day of the trade in, the new sim card has to be registered using his phone number because technically the deal is $700 trade in, and $200 for carrier activation. And I would be able to use the new phone with my old sim card.

Hope that helps.
