You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Went to a store in NYC, trying to trade in for a 13 Pro, they said they can't do it in-store and I would have to do it online. Wasted over in hour trying to argue with them that it seems to work for others. Online I can't check out, I just get the error message that the phone is not available for pick up anymore - I assume due to being out of stock. Sucks when others seem to be able to trade in multiple times.

Sorry am not sure if it's answered already. I tried to upgrade using the Costco line which I signed up yesterday for 300$ BYOD promo and am not receiving text message for verification. Any trick to get this resolved ?

No, because it's not registered on the T-Mobile network. Box has to be opened and phone activated with a T-Mobile SIM for T-Mobile to unlock it.

Got the info from wiki. My new number was not signed up to receive text message and now it's resolved

It's on the community wiki details in this post. Folks not receiving verification text from BestBuy - Opt for text messages from BestBuy by sending 'HELP' to numbers - 332211 and 22891 (do both). You should receive verification text on the next try

That sucks. Did you try to order online and they gave you a problem at pick up? In store purchase seems to confuse the BB reps who are new the TM system.

If you keep looking online sometimes a store will randomly show it's in stock. Key point: you shouldn't add the phone to your cart on the page with map of the stores. You have to go back to the product page, add it to your cart, enter your TM info, then when it's added your cart, select the store with the stock.

Sharing this because that was the only way I got my phones in NYC. Good luck!
