You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Did you try using 1111 as the last four of her SSN? The account only has the primary person's actual SSN.

Also, nothing stops you from ordering again on your number once you've picked up the initial order

Nope, that won't fly. Wish it did. I would love to walk into Best buy with a bag of old phones, dump 'em on the counter, and announce "OK, I am ready to upgrade to the iPhone 13." laugh out loud

Thanks. I did 3 devices so far. Wanted to do 4 but I was way late to the game on this deal. Everything is out of stock now locally unless I want to drive a couple of hours, which I don't. Maybe some stores will receive more stock before this deal dies, but not looking too promising at this point.

The ability to use 5G is available on all TMO plans. It is the device that needs to have 5G capability. All TMO plans offer 5G so just be sure you have a 5G capable phone with an updated R15 SIM card installed.

Best Buy has nothing to do with TMO 5G - they are simply selling the phones.

Yep.
The best buy associate showed us the chart and they were all 5G, minus one, but that wasn't our plan anyway. So why was the system saying our Magenta plan wasn't 5G eligible? Who knows.
When I went to a TMobile store later, they also said that all their plans are 5G. The Best Buy reps I spoke to over the phone also said all T-Mobile plans are 5G (they worked at T-Mobile too), but /maybe/ I had an old version that wasn't properly updated somehow.

I think the in-store associate that said we needed at least one 5G phone already on the plan, was misinformed Smilie to be kind

Will figure it out soon hopefully

Finally was able to preorder for December 3. The confirmation page says "These new charges will be added to your carrier bill and do not include all taxes, fees and surcharges. Discount or data plan changes previously messaged will be applied to your plan."

Anyone know what that means? AFAIK from reading the thread, there shouldn't be any charges on Tmobile bill or changes to plans.

This thread is going long.. can some one add Wiki with the below details for my questions.. It will help others as well
- Do we have to pick a plan from bestbuy for tmobile if you are not current customer.
- Can we cancel the plan immediately out of the store
- Can we unlock by messaging T-Force
- Do we have to wait 40 days with service or without service ?- Do they accept any lighlty cracked front
- Do they accept any lighlty cracked back
