You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

If you have x months remaining in your EIP, you just continue to pay until the term ends. You are just giving the phone to BB and pay the difference $75 plus taxes (if giving base 12 to get base 13). You own the phone outright, as the 13 is fully paid off.

Just because you now have a fully paid 13, you cannot move the phone line associated to a different carrier. Then, you would need to pay the difference to T-Mobile for whatever months remaining in your EIP. I hope this clarifies.

T-Mobile will just continue to bill like they do now, if you do this trade-in.

You can surely try. If you could make it to the checkout page, you can order. I ordered on the third day after creative TMo lines at Costco. I had to wait because port in at tmobile side took some time.
