You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

I did 6 devices using one T-Mobile account and one Best Buy account.

I actually had 9 iPhones ordered for pickup at one point but canceled 3 because the same model phones became available at a store closer to me.

I probably would have done all 9 if I had 3 more trade-in devices available that were of high value.

For a 12 I think it's like $520 trade value and $205 trade discount. So if you return the 13 it's likely you'll only get the GC for whatever trade value is assigned to your trade in ($520 for my example I gave). The trade discount is lost.

Just picked up my iPhone 13 pro max today. Ordered on 11/11 and was upside to get $490 + $200 bonus, but their system said it was only giving me $490. Manager said I should only be charged for the difference anyway in price, and that seemed to be accurate as I wasn't charged for the $200….just fyi


Anyway, was anyone able to unlock their phones immediately from T-Mobile?

Picked up the iphone today. Confused as to why I was given a SIM card. What happens if I insert that SIM card into my new phone? Would that add a line to my bill, or will nothing happen? Can i just toss the SIM card? Planning to give this phone to my gf on Xmas who already has a SIM card

It won't add a line but will activate your number on that SIM and your current SIM will stop working. You can keep this new SIM aside. If your girlfriend is on TMobile she can use her SIM after you gift her the phone.

Not sure what I am doing wrong. I want to trade an iPhone 12 Pro Max unlocked , bought out straight from Apple last year but when I go to the Best Buy app to trade the phone I only get the option to upgrade and not to trade. When I do the upgrade it does not give me the option to pay for the balance. It goes to T-Mobile to pay by installments. I want to pay outright for the balance of the phone from Best Buy. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? The difference is only about $130.00 with tax so that's is why I wanted to pay it all. I see other people are paying the difference to Best Buy without going through T-Mobile. I don't want T-Mobile installments. I guess I can then go to T-Mobile and pay the rest afterwards but that is not what other people are seeing.

Most likely when you are adding the phone to the cart you are choosing device payment plan option. You need to chose full payment option before you click add to cart.
