You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

- I see that the 13 needs to be activated and active while I attempt to unlock through T-Force and may need to hold for up to 40 days. What would be the best plan to have the phone on while I wait it out? (Or does "activation" not necessitate having a plan?)

I tried trading in my son's iphone 12 mini. He had a slight crack on the screen underneath the screen protector which wasn't noticeable until she remove it. She informed me that they wouldn't give me the full trade-in value. When I came home I tried to put on a new screen protector, it would apply flat over the spot that was cracked, which was unnoticeable before she removed the screen protector. The associate expanded the crack so now it's worse than before. Pretty pissed.

So now you're blaming BB? Should have removed it yourself, but then the crack would exposed. Got it!

Yep I had to call 1800TMOBILE to get this plan. They said 3G data though, so it will be pretty slow.

A crack is a crack. Why didn't you remove it yourself before going to BB? Afraid that the crack was much noticeable and they would denied your tradein. Tried to pull a fast one on BB?

Sorry to hear that. But I would have take care the slight crack for $100 then risking the $600. Too much at stake

Plus some do ask you to remove the screen film so they can inspect .

GmeStop sells refurb iPhones for less than some of these trade-ins. I did this deal with the iPhone 12 so ws able to save a bit extra.
