You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

i don't have tmobile. i don't mind paying for a prepaid service or postpaid or switching my network however i don't want to give my ssn to tmobile. So can i create my account on tmobile by getting a prepaid account and then upgrade in the deal? does it ask for ssn then? is there a way to skip ? i don't mind paying a little extra

if there are any early adopters of this deal who had their line cancelled within a month or so after Tforce unlock, request you to please confirm if there was any sort of Tmobile policy enforced after the account closure, either on the device IMEI or account holder blacklisting .

I was getting the text verification at one point but ran into so many issues after I canceled my first trade-in order. I was unable to place another order due to the "multiple orders" error message. I also stopped receiving the text verifications (also attempted texting HELP to the BB #'s) and had no choice but to go into the store.

Keep in mind that they will also try texting you the code in the store so you must ask for them to email you the code instead, which has worked twice for me. The phones I wanted were in stock at the location I went to and I had phones ready to trade in both times so I'm not sure if you can pay to pick up a phone at a later time. I also didn't realize that I was only taxed on the difference between the phone and trade-in so that was a bonus.

I've also contemplated buying the $300 TW/Straight Talk 12 mini to trade in but they do check the IMEI and everything and I am not sure it is worth the trouble.

Why would you want to pay the bill once you get your device unlocked from Tforce ? You can cancel the account and move on .. At least thats what most of them are doing with this deal in my understanding .

I've never done the trade-in, Walmart iPhone mini 12 is with straight talk but in best buy trade in list doesn't show straight talk. How do we get this trade in at Bestbuy? Could someone pls help me? I have gone through last 20 pages and couldn't find any info on this.

Pick any carrier for your trade-in device if it is not on the list. Best Buy does not care nor check it.

I said that cuz the guy/girl did not want to pay the $65/mo fee to sign up TM

Also with TM, if one churns acct too often, they might black list the buyer. Just saying/sharing.

I got the info from both TM reps and several known consumer sites. But to each his/her own.

I keep seeing this error even though I'm entering the right number
