I bought one for wife last month... Order we t thru fine

Contemplating getting one for myself and buying off eBay for trade-in

Keeping getting this annoying message

Contacted best buy and they said they see no issues on account, said might be tmo

Thought maybe was the pixel pro that I ordered but ended up returning, but that return just registered in their system but I'm seeing same message

Reached out to force but not seeing a response from them yet

Also am I crazy to think to buy on eBay from vipoutlet to get trade in credit

Iphone 12 gets 725 off iphone 13 pro max

Buy around $530 to then get 725 off $1100 ?

Is that worth it?

Out of pocket becomes $530 ebay price + $375 remaining balance .. seems not worth it

I did the same, and it was fine. I used my brother's Tmobile account and number to "upgrade" the phone. At the check out screen, I signed in to my Bestbuy account and paid with my credit card. So the pick up is under my name and everything. Picked up at BB, was in-n-out laugh out loud

in 10 mins with the trade in. I was not asked for my brother's account info at all (it should be already taken care when you first "update" the phone). I was asked instead for my information and my phone due to trade in. So if it's a stolen phone, etc. they know who to contact lol. Now I'm waiting for 3 more orders using his numbers under my account, awaiting for shipment...

I am ordering on BB website and keep getting "Please try again we had an issue, but it should be fixed now." on the final checkout page. Did anyone else have the same issue? If so, how did you get it resolved?

Has this been answered? How do you check out the Best Buy iPhone? Did you do it in store or online? If online, don't you need to activate a Tmo or ATT line right on the website? While in store, do you take the phone and tell them you will activate the line at home and not letting the Best Buy rep activate the line? Is that how it's done? Please kindly be specific.

I am currently with ATT and may have an inactive ATT SIM lying around.

Anyone know when this offer is good until?

Trying to figure out how to take advantage of this and give the phone as a surprise Xmas gift for my son.

But can't really do that without him knowing that I took his current phone.

There was rumor that the offer was good until November 29. Not sure if that's true. If anyone can order and confirm it works today then maybe they've extended it.

Does anyone know the answer... My cousin has an iphone and he can not remember the passcode. He was told to take a receipt to the Apple store to prove proof of purchase. He has all of this but has not been to the Apple store yet (it's an extra phone). Can he still trade it (with the original receipt) with it locked or would he have to go to the Apple store to get it unlocked first?

The BB rep has to turn on the iPhone and go to the About section in settings to get IMEI. They wouldn't be able to if it was blocked by passcode

I can get to the screen and get the IMEI. It is locked beyond that.

Hey everyone, I'm going to be going into the store today to pickup the phone.

Does anyone know if I upgrade another person's line, do they need to be there with their SIM to complete the upgrade? They're out of town right now and won't be back until next week. I don't want their SIM to stop working if best buy upgrades the line with a new SIM and I don't have their SIM to put into the phone since they're out of town

I went ahead and tried to place an order online but got error message "Please try again we had an issue, but it should be fixed now.", even after choosing Magenta Max plan.

Is the deal dead?

I haven't seen this specifically posted, but theoretically this should be possible right?

1. get 2 Walmart ST iPhone 12 minis
2. trade one in for BB gift card
3. order iPhone 13 at BB.com and use other as $630 trade in
4. use BB gift card to pay remaining balance

There is a risk, depending upon how aggressive the BBUY rep is when they "activate" the new phone. When I traded in under my wife's account in a NY store I need to enter the last four of her SSN and also get her to screen shot a one-time code. The scanning of the new SIM did NOT deactivate her service - I think the BBUY person would have to open the box and shove it into the phone for that dreaded scenario. They just scanned codes off the sealed box and the SIM Card and handed it all to me to set up at home.
