You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

It looks like Best Buy just lowered the trade in value from $630 to $600 on the iphone 12 mini. Should have ordered last night!

Waiting to pickup my iPhone 13 Pro 256GB in Sierra Blue hopefully in a week or so.

Here's what I did:

Bought iPhone 12 mini from Walmart (-$299)
Setup iPhone 12 mini as trade in with BB/Tmo (+$630)
Ordered iPhone 13 Pro 256GB (-$1099)
BB Credit Card 10% promo on my account (+$110)

= $658 out of pocket (before taxes) and I still have my iPhone 11 Pro 256 to sell on eBay which should come close to breaking even

Math would have worked out similar if I had traded in 2nd iPhone 12 mini for a BB gift card and used that toward purchase.
