You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

My unlocking efforts failed, so I did two successful $430 trade-ins at BB today.

(I'd set them up before any value drops I saw today)
