You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Will the ATT unlocking method work with my old ATT sim which is now deactivated.

they're very busy-- I've had response times of 1hr to several. I unlocked a phone on one of my lines and when they were available, they unlocked it pretty much instantly.

9 mins after I gave them my IMEI: Awesome, thank you! That unlock is pushed through, so you are good to go on our end.

I went to my tmobile account and sure enough it should unlocked.
