You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

can confirm that in BB SoCal (L.A.) trade-in value was till US$630 today and tax was only charged on remaining difference, compared to ordering online where value was US$600 and tax on full amount. They did take fingerprint.

I remember getting the 1st iPhone back in the day in Apple store discounted as well and they still charged me tax on full price... not sure why BB does not have to do that, but works for me ;-)

It may depend on local state laws. I started an online order with trade in at a farther away location that had a specific color in stock, but switched to a closer store (in a different state) and the tax went from $4 to over $30.

After unlocking my iPhone 13 with the ATT sim method, i called to cancel the Tmo line the same day of activation. Guess what? They told me since they attempted to send a text to the new Tmo line but it was never received (never inserted the SIM) the line was automatically cancelled. I asked for a confirmation number but was told no confirmation can be provided. And no balance either.

Strange?

You're welcome, hopefully it helps a few SD'ers. Good question, I have a family plan with 4 lines. I was able to use my primary phone number 2 times so far, the last time my OnePlus Nord SIM was deactivated but no biggie, I just used the new BestBuy SIM (which normally costs $9.99 but they waived), inserted new SIM into my current actual Android daily driver phone and it's working again. This is important to know because if you use your wife/kids/parents phone number for trade in be aware their phone *might* stop working after the trade in.
