You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

btw, you got lucky if you did not get charged full tax on online orders. My online orders were paid full tax, but in store trade/order was partially taxed after trade in.

Or, some initial online orders when this deal first started was able to pay only partial taxes.

I was 10 mins late to that party. Still happy with all these deals. Scored another PM today lol

It's not spreading misinformation. When they checkout, BB showed them how much they had to pay in tax. You couldn't argue with the screen. Either you paid or canceled your order. Some people went to the store and tax on the difference. Some also reported even if they did in store still being tax at MSRP. So depends on the lacations. We have a lot of data points from people live throughout CA that reports what they have experienced.

I screwed up a couple of weeks ago and cancelled my order when they told me it may take days to port my att # to TM and just cancelled the order. Now I have to wait 120 days before opening another TM account and I really need to buy 2 promax 13 without monthly payments. Verizon deal seems OK for 24 month but $70 per line per month is a ripoff!

What are my options if any?

Find a friend that has TM. I'm sure you will have no problem convince them to let you use their account.

Looks like in my case it was neither full price nor full discount.
Tax was charged on full price - Trade in promotion.
$699.99 - $200 = $499.99 * 8.25% = $41.25

yes, there are 2 separate trade-in values, the phone value and an additional promotional value, the print outs they hand you only includes the phone trade in value.
