You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Come on people !
You are making it worse for the Best Buy reps and other customers waiting in line.

These should be less than 10 minute transactions but if you are not backing up your devices and having to backup in the store, it will take long!

FYI- Went to Best Buy yesterday and they said the promotion ends on the 5th. And that, they only know for a week at at time how long it'll last. So, it's possible on the 5th or 6th, they'll get another notice that it's good for another week.

Missed out on the $299 Straight Talk deal at WalMart but there was one remaining in my area for $349. Ordered it last night for pickup but got message this morning that it was OOS. Checked again and saw it listed as in-stock. Rolled the dice and placed the order again and got confirmation less than 90 minutes later that it was ready for pickup.

On the T-Mobile $20 Talk & Text plan, is there any charge for the SIM - their website seems to say it could be an extra $25 for their SIM starter kit.

I assume they are documenting this for trade ins. An earlier comment in this thread said they took a picture of her. Oh, and they take your fingerprint too. I guess Facebook/Meta needs to confirm all the info they have is up to date 👎

If you get out the door with the iPhone still sealed in the box it will work. If the folks at the kiosk put their SIM in the phone you are out of luck. Costco stock is "flex policy" just like BestBuy.

You can't unlock a st phone with att sim, only flex policy lock phones. All those straight talk phones from Walmart and sams club can't be unlocked this way, the 12 mini
