You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

$200 is applied immediately to the tradein there are no future credits

Don't know what this means, but I just got an applecare plus email from best buy saying Thank you for my purchase. Its the monthly plan. But when I click on the receipt, the name on the receipt is someone else and the IMEI is someone elses. They also used a mastercard and it was in store. Same phone though. Could it be that whoever this is put my number into best buys pinpad by mistake and it showed up as a purchase on my account? Should i be concerned?

Ok just was able to purchase online. Bought 128gb pro max with trade in of xs max for $500. Told my friend who signed up to downgrade his plan to $20 plan. For some reason his original plan had a discount so maybe that wouldn't allow upgrades. I would try upgrade online but never allowed it. Now I can order it this way. Hopefully it comes and doesn't cancel, here on 17th.

Yeah I hope so too, I just noticed that the 12 mini is indeed down to $600.

Anyone know how to set up notifications for when new comments are added to this comment section? I'm not talking about replies to my comment which I already get notified for I'm talking specifically about when any new comment is posted to this comment section.

If it was done before midnight local time, it was $630, now it is $600, still decent, if not good imho

Used the suggested route of getting a new AT&T SIM from Apple store and placing it in the phone once I was back from the store to activate on wifi.

The T-Mobile SIM was included on the outside of the box (no additional charge). It was never placed in the phone.

The trade in was easy, I brought in the 12 mini powered on already with the screen that shows the IMEI. They applied it to the transaction, $430 off plus the bonus $200 T-Mobile.

The person helping me was fairly new and had to bring in a more experienced person to walk them through parts of it, but went smoothly. This was all done at the front of the store in the online pickups area.

If I were doing this again, I'd go the same route of finding a BB store that has the model I want in stock and placing the order online for pickup with trade in processed at that location.
