OK. So I managed to find a different Tmobile store that was able to give me the $20/mo unlimited plan. He confirmed it was postpaid. The problem seemed to be that they needed to do a credit verification- something that didn't come up with the other agents (in store/chat/on the phone) that I talked to. 3 questions and I was approved. He also told me most stores won't do the plan bc they don't want to bother with a $20 plan. Phone worked fine with new number.

I'm now unable to "upgrade" via the best buy site. It says "Something's wrong. The phone number and last 4 of SSN combination you entered doesn't match carrier records. Please try again."

There are two options #1. Monthly payment #2.One-time payment . Choose #2. to settle everything at Best Buy itself this way you don't have to pay T-mobile monthly . You will not get any bill credits monthly .

Why it says deal expired. Its still available on Best buy. Am i missing something?

Oh this answers my question too. On my 1st order at BB site I choose Monthly payment instead of one whole payment but I should have choosen one whole payment because if I had a BB gc I can use that.

Ofcourse I traded in a 12 mini for a $400 gc before I saw your statement. 🙃

I just went to BB to pick up my 13 Pro but the rep couldn't find the trade-in on the computer, so I wasn't able to complete my order. Anyone have the same problem?

Thanks for the information. Isn't option #1 better if we get bill credits? Are we qualified to get bill credits? Final amount is the same (cost after trade in value) either way. We can pay off any time with TM right?

2. Updated IMEI info on the unlock link and it instantly showed that its a Iphone 13 Mini.
3. Received email with the message "Confirm your unlock request within 24 hours" with a link to check status.
4.After 5min, clicked on the check status link and the webpage stated Current status - Denied. The follow on message was " your request was denied because your IMEI didnt match a device that is compatible ATT network. I rechecked the IMEI multiple times and confirmed the number is correct.
5. 2 min later received email saying "We can't complete your unlock request right now. Make sure you have the correct IMEI"

I am not an ATT customer so not sure what i should i do next. Is it now permanently locked to ATT? Can Tmobile unlocked it after a period of time?
Any help/suggestion is much appreciated.

Update: I tried again using a different email and phone number as suggested by a few and this time it worked !! i keyed in the same IMEI and followed exactly the same steps as before. Only difference is submitted the request in the email several hours later. Dont think that makes any difference but just putting it out there what i did. thanks to those who took the time to respond. Much appreciated and can breathe easy now Smilie

don't worry as long as you did not Input sim card in any iphone tmobile account will not be activated thus they will auto cancel. My situation created new line new number BB scan everything gave me iphone 13pm without opening the box sim was attach to the box

As long as you don't activate sim online on BB website order history or input into any iphone your account does not exist this auto cancel that the situation is am in I have not been charge $60 for new line by tmobile or BB so I feel confident it will be auto cancel will keep an eye on CC and any email from tmobile

Trade-in value went down I think. Iphone 12 used to be $725.

You can order multiple phones for same line which has EIP. If you cancel line, they just send you a bill for the remaining balance left on the EIP. I don't think they charge your cc automatically unless you have autopay set up

You have the choice to pick one time or EIP when adding the phone to the cart.

Completed a trade in today for a 13 PM. Rep was new so he needed help from another rep to get everything completed. Wasn't aware BB needed fingerprint as well. Heading back tomorrow to pick up another 13 PM

Without knowing I paid off first iPhone and picked up 2nd iPhone from Best Buy in next hr. It was activated on same line. Now I see new dpp on the same ! Looks like I can pay it off and order another tomorrow to pick up during Christmas .
