You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Good luck!

It may worked for you and I followed a wiki. That's why I'm asking if anyone had same experience. The request that I submit for first phone I have confirmed so after few days I got email that it's canceled, like you saying I may get email but it's been a week and it's still saying PROCESSING.When I entering IMEI email and different mane it's says specifically You're request already processing for this IMEI so I can't submit another one. With second phone since my friend submit request him self and haven't confirmed the email after I did activation for him. When I tried to submit request again same way with different email and name it says you're request for this IMEI is PENDING and if I check a status it's says as well it's PENDING.I wish it did work so I don't have to deal with it.
Hi I am in the same boat waiting 5 days, what did you do?

This is not the same scenario. This person admitted s/he did not confirm their email address or AT&T did not register their confirmation, so their unlock request was never processed, as stated in both the unlock webpage and the email confirmation.

Unless something changed, AT&T verifies unlock requests by email account, not by IMEI number. I seen unlock requests denied by overusing an email account; the fix was to use a different email account. Requests were processed immediately with the new email, no wait needed.

If you choose to try again, please follow the instructions. Say you are not a customer. Use a different person name and email (phone number should be left blank). Email should be gmail not hotmail (someone reported hotmail get rejected). Confirm the email this time.
Hi my request has been pending for at least 5 days and no update. Is there any way to get it processed? Someone working at ATT has said they might have tightened the process and made an update to the software. Do you think it's just an email it would depend on?

Does anyone know what's the longest amount of time it took for people to get response from AT&T so far? And has it been positive or negative after such a long excruciating wait?

Given how long this thread has gone on, did anyone never receive T-Mobile account details because they activated the phone with a different carrier? I'm worried that the account will just activate itself and slowly accumulate a bill and then at some point, T-Mobile's going to come knocking.

As far as I have researched, there's no way for me to make an account since I never got a phone number, but I'd like to feel 100% confident that one won't just be created for me at some point.
Someone else in the thread said he called twice and they said it would auto-cancel.

I messaged T-Mobile earlier today and they couldn't find an account under my name.

Supposedly in the clear.

I don't think they will charge him restocking fee since phone needs to be locked to t mobile and he can tell them that's phone doesn't support the sim.I would definitely exchange it.

Picked up my 13 pro max tonight. Took forever as the person has to key everything in again with my name and address and email. Not sure if this was normal or he was new. I traded in a xs max which I got from Walmart for $199. Showed me trade in value of $230 then I showed him my email said $500. He didn't take into account the added promotion of $270 from bestbuy or T-Mobile. He gave me box and out I went. Sent unlock to att at 9:01 and 9:03 for unlock approved. Used same SIM card that I unlocked 7 other phones with. Still got a few more XS max and regular xs from Walmart deal. Might do one more upgrade for a regular 13 with the xs max.

did you try the ipsws software put iphone in dfu mode and see if you can restore back to original and may be flex policy may show up

Downlod apple latest software for specific iphone Google it ipsw apple download
Then put iphone in dfu mode search Google or YouTube specific mode
Then start iTunes restore using ctrl button it give you option to select file and select what you downloaded and install

It too long to type step by step

Best bet Google and YouTube ipsw install apple on iPhone 13xx

Goodluck it going to be
I tried this - it did not revert to flex mode even with a DFU restore of a downloaded IPSW. Bad news for folks wanting an exit from delayed ATT unlock. I still believe an ATT customer could also request an unlock on my behalf - although I won't need that type of assistance.

Picked up my 13 pro tonight and used the ATT method to unlock it few minutes. The unlock process was painless. Thanks to whoever found this way of unlocking.

Question for everyone, once you get unlocked do you immediately cancel the T-Mobile plan that you purchased or people wait for few days before canceling. If we cancel immediately (or before activating the SIM card) does T-Mobile charges for the whole month? Any advise for people that purchased this phone to use with another carrier?

Did you ordered online? Already picked up?
Yes, online. Ordered just today. It will only arrive by Dec 21st. I just put it here so that if anyone wants can use. I may post once again before it gets cancelled because I know most people won't read all the previous messages.

For those who did this deal to trade-in a straight talk iPhone 12 Mini from Walmart, heads up: Got a call recently from the Best Buy I purchased it and the manager stated that they're completing an audit of these trade-ins and that there were some unclear issues between Best Buy and T-Mobile with respect to the promo, because of which Best Buy automatically refunded me (this is true- I got a credit today for the full amount). And that unless I come in soon to the Best Buy and provide them a credit card to charge me the same promo amount again, Tmobile will charge me the full price of the phone traded in for. He emphasized however that this is unusual and they'll take care of it without any additional charges as long as I cooperate. Make of this what y'all will.

Is it a hoax you try to post or real?
It does not make any sense.
1) Tmobile customers signed a contract with trade-in amount and EIP monthly payment amount. No way in hell they can go back and say "we need to increase that monthly payment because we screw up our trade-in program with BB.
2) Lots of non-Tmobile people just created a new/temp T-Mobile accounts to get on these deals. What are they going to do? Send them a bill for it?
Can anyone confirm what he said? Was it a hoax or troll?

So you did get the extra 270 or you didn't get the extra 270?

Went for my second 13PM today, and the 300-lb gremlin I was working with took 2 hours to resolve order issues and was adamant that he inserted SIM to my phone. insert, he did. and now the phone is locked to TM. Because I had a long day, i said fk it and came home. Got on phone with TM and cancelled my other line. And called again to ask for an unlock for todays new phone. They said it hasnt shown up in their system yet and they would like me to try again in 3 days. Will try again next week.

Thanks for sharing the info. That aligns with my understanding. The lock should be permanent on Apple server unless the carrier requests unlock. If anyone can unlock an iPhone with DFU, it will be a big bug.
