I have an original xbox one with gamepass and i couldnt play for long due to the load times. The random battles were taking 18 seconds to load which was agonizing after playing one ps5 with minimal loads. Any news on how long ps5 load times were?

From Amazon review:

"Major thing to note is that the loading times can be 5-10secs on PS5 during random battles, and screen transitions. Can't imagine how it'll be on lower end hardware like the Nintendo Switch. Can be very annoying when there's a load transition in-and-out of battle as there are random encounters; even in instances where you have to walk to certain areas to solve an environmental puzzle."

I've got this on switch and I stopped playing during the first forest area. The art and time ideas really great… but it's really unplayable with the ridiculous load times. I keep hoping for a patch update that will fix it.

I wonder if Best Buy had fewer copies for the Xbox One. I checked the listing later in the day, and it was marked as sold out. Any differences between the PS5 and Xbox versions?

I second that the load times are truly unacceptable on Switch. Not only this, but my version of the game crashed one day, and ever since, my cursor never appears on the menu and I cannot start a new game or load my save files. Neither Nintendo nor the developers of the game have responded to my requests for help. Cannot recommend enough to NOT buy this game on Switch.
