Got this as an open box "excellent" a couple weeks ago from Best Buy fire 699 + 100 gift card. Not sure if I should take it back or not.
Sound bar itself is nice. Definitely top in this price range. Only thing that could best it is the Samsung q900a but it's 900.
I thought a lot about getting that exact Samsung bar, but choose the LG since I have an LG TV. They'll synergize a little better from what I understand.

Funny. I have a Samsung TV, but chose the LG. Granted, I had a really nice Samsung soundbar that just crapped out on me after right at 3 years. Between that and their refrigerators, I have a hard time trusting Samsung!

Don't get an LG fridge. Their compressors are crap.
Purchased one open box @ Best Buy for 454.00
Came in the box with all original materials including the remote.
The associate told me that oftentimes people purchase these then the spouse doesn't like how large it is on the shelf so they get immediately returned. There were two others for 454.
At first I wasn't sure if I liked the sound bar, but after some Dolby Atmos content i was amazed at the quality of the sound. You can also listen to things at 15 and it sounds clean and loud enough. Perfect if you have a sleeping child in the house and don't want to wake them up.
Highly recommend this bar, however before you buy it at Best Buy check the open boxes and get this for under 500 with all taxes included. I think I was out the door at 487.
Bought this from Best Buy in the recent sale; returned it immediately.
The soundbar communicates with the subwoofer @ 5 GHz and greatly interferes with 5 GHz wifi in a ~10 ft radius whenever it's on – and since my Google Wifi mesh uses 5 GHz for router-to-router communication it made all of my internet connected devices unusable
Will have to wait until the Sonos goes on sale again...

Edit: The sound was great though
Thanks for this info. I also have Google Wifi but with a wired backhaul. Hopefully that will be good. This reminds me of 2007/2008 when I bought my first home theatre with wireless speakers. There was only 2.4Ghz in the home and to use my Xbox 360 controllers, I had to sit a foot away. A Linksys WRT610N with 5Ghz fixed that

Do you have high ceiling, do you think it will be good enough with high ceiling?
