Once you link the accounts, the games show up in both launchers.

98% sure you can. I had New Dawn in Epic and it shows in Ubi Connect. You should also be able to buy an Ubi game on the Epic Store and then buy DLC from Ubi Connect.

Once the accounts are linked, they show up in both and you don't need EGS to launch/play the game. However, it's not a two-way street - so if you have the base game only in Ubi Connect - you won't be able to buy just the expansion/add-on from Epic.

I bought a Ubisoft Game on EGS and ended up buying the expansion for the game on Ubisoft Connect client. I further ended up buy more games direct from Ubisoft Connect, none of which show on EGS games list. These days, I launch the Ubisoft game direct from it's client, I don't use EGS anymore for Ubisoft games. So long story short, no we don't have to use EGS launcher to open said Ubi games, and yes I just use ubisoft connect.

It will work on both MacOS and Windows. The game will download the correct version for whatever OS you are using.

Conveniently pricing titles to exempt the coupon.
If the publishers are setting the prices, but epic is footing the bill on coupons to drive the user base, why wouldn't they raise prices to sell more and make more money in the process? I'd much rather pay $5 for a bunch of games and the publisher would much rather sell more copies at $15 than $13

Such as? OP's prices are post-coupon.

It was just announced today that The Forgotten City is coming to console and PC Game Pass later this month. Besides that, there's some really good deals. I recommend Disco Elysium at this price (or even full price).

That .99 cents sales trick strikes again.

This is a little off-topic, but is there a way to get WWZ to work with controllers. Not working via gamestream to TV (fire stick), and the online consensus seems to be they left out the functionality. I can't imagine trying to play that game with a keyboard. I actually bought it so I'd like to actually play it.
Works fine for me. Using an Xbox Series X controller with Windows USB adapter. Try this: https://www.gamenguides.com/how-t...king-on-pc

Seems I did get it after all, I'm tempted to get Disco Elysium that's the lowest price I have ever seen but I really want the steam achievements 😤. Also Splinter Cell games are heavily discounted in case anyone is interested, double agent is like 3 bucks.

Made sense last time when Epic handed out $10 coupons for every purchase, but this time you only get one.

Perception of price could be a major reason. Having the game $10 cheaper could make it look cheap and less worth playing to some people.

Looking at historic lows, customers who miss out on this sale for whatever reason see that it had previously been $5 w/coupon and will refuse to pay $10-15. So locking in $13 or whatever as the historic low makes $10 look like a better deal next time.

Both of these are part of the reason developers and publishers stopped pushing such massive sales on Steam. Might make sense short term but could have worse effects in the long run.

Gonna pick up the new Hitman 3 for $20... Hasn't really gone on sale and I know it'll be cheaper next year or whatever.. Also that's an awesome price on the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

The game had some good ideas, but really poor execution. Got boring for me really quickly.

Heads-up: Death Stranding Director's Cut just released on console, but there are no known/announced plans to bring it to PC.
The director's cut is the worst way to experience the game. It takes some of the emotion out. It's easier to access and play through than the original.
