Thanks for your question. No, this laptop uses a standard barrel connecter for charging. It cannot be charged through the USB-C port. This model does not support video out through the USB-C port. It has an HDMI 1.4 port for video output to a monitor.

I agree, it's one of the best Chromebooks I've ever used. Well-put together, 2-in-1, Backlit-KB, USB-C charging (like all Chromebook). It's a great laptop overall. Screen brightness is the only weakness, but it's a great deal if you want a big Chromebook at 399.
This HP is missing a backlit keyboard and USB-C charging, but otherwise seems OK if you need a budget Windows laptop. Haven't used this one in person but this cheap silver HP's all seem to be fairly flimsy but useable.

suggest that perhaps this is a single SODIMM installed. So perhaps you can add another for 16GB?
almost perfect
Always trash
Good luck!

The ASUS seems comparably modular but as with the i3 model here is probably worth a skip for the slightly spendier 4 core i5. The greatest feature of any of these systems is that if and when you ever need more storage or RAM upgrading is an option. That's an increasingly rare option these days.
Good luck!
