wouldn't know from the amazon listing, the seller has decided to put 13 useless photos and pages and pages of text and not one photo of the nutritional panel. they have indicated to me that they do not want my business, as with any other seller that can't be bothered to provide a photo of the nutritional panel. it is not my job to do the sellers job and go hunt all over the internet for information. sorry, it just really ticks me off when they do that. --gets down off of soapbox--
To answer your question, according to the USDA, per 100g of cereal:
Cheerios - Honey Nut 33g sugar (yikes!!!!)
Cheerios - Frosted - 32g sugar (yowzers!!!!)
Cheerios "Protein" - 30g sugar- ...apparently "protein" means "tons of sugar"....
Cheerios Multigrain (deal above) - 22g still pretty damn sugary!!!
Cheerios Plain - 4.5g NOW we're talking!
and just for comparison:
Post Shredded Wheat (my personal favorite) - <1g sugar
I have never seen Post Shredded Wheat go on sale even once..ticks me off,,,only the "candy" cereals ever go on sale...
**grumble grumble grumble***
Oh what the fruit-loop, thanks for doing my lazy work. And yes, I'm with you, ticks me off when there's no nutrition label. Canceling this one, i mean how they shoe-horned in 22g of sugar? We give our daughter the plain ones usually, was just thinking a "multigrain" would have more fiber or something.
