You're a bit slow if you couldn't pick up the point from context of their statement…

Thank you for posting. About $5 less than people got it for last year. Not super slick but slick enough!

Can I return it for free if I don't like the quality?

It says I can for "most products" but how do I know if this qualifies?

For most Costway product returns, you will get a pre-paid return label that allows you to return the item to the Costway warehouse. You can download the return label in the personal center.

Coupon only valid on 7' tree, not the 7.5' or 8'

If you don't have a tree right now. I would consider buying one now if it's important to your family. Supply chain disruptions are coming back soon.

Reviews on Sitejabber for Costway are pretty awful. Almost as many 1 star reviews as 5 stars.

I have news for you. It will get worse. The only questions are how much worse and when.

There was a recent study that found that the environmental impact of buying a plastic tree far outweighed the environmental impact of getting a real tree every year. To have it break even, you'd need the plastic tree to last for aomething like 20 years.
