Seems a bad idea. Nonstick cookware is not a good idea in my opinion for high temps. I have experienced very unpleasant fumes, causing me to tear up and cough.
Woks are best used at high temps. The wok shape has a small area of contact, so not good as a saute pan. I agree with the other poster to get carbon steel (and season it properly). It will be nonstick and withstand high temps.

Countertop stoves cannot reach a heat level that can breakdown the Teflon to the point that it becomes carcinogenic. It has to be like 500-600 F minimum before it can even breakdown.

Here is a pic of it after seasoning it. Looks ugly but it forms a coating that is nonstick. It is built nicely and is heavyweight, not flimsy at all. I followed the included seasoning instructions. It could use another session but I have not used it much yet.
I purchased it from a slick deal a long while back. You will never get one that cheap though.

It is currently at a good deal (IMO) from Target for $19.99:

Well worth it!
Another fact is that most home consumer stoves don't reach the proper temperature for a wok, but that won't stop me with my turbo-burner from cooking as hot as I can.
You will never reach restaurant wok temps without going prosumer I imagine (no I have not shopped around but never seen a wok set up on one. Look at their fire sometime. It is a thing of beauty to watch them work their magic in a couple of minutes. I admit am not educated in the science of it as far as being cancerous, but pretty much everything is anyway. Just ask CA. /s
