Be careful with this thing. It gave me tinnitus I will have to live with for the rest of my life immediately after using it the very first time. If you have a major blockage please go to a doctor and get it removed by a special suction machine. This peroxide crap sure works, but I wish I have never used it. While this occurrence is supposedly rare it may happen, and you will not like it I promise. Had MRI with gadolinium, had 3 copays, this OTC Drano costed me tons of money. I've got used to tinnitus (didn't know what it is before this little bottle) and don't really care at this point, but be warned, bothers and sisters

Went to a doctor for some hearing loss I had - sure enough they found wax blockage and they flushed as much as they could, which seemed significant at the time. I went from deaf in one ear to being able to hear again.

Per doctor's orders, went home and used Debrox for a few days. There was very little output on the first few applications. On the very last one though, it was like a dam had breached - the amount of wax that flowed out was jaw dropping. I went from SD to HD audio quality.

Saw the doctor a week later for a followup, he flushed my ear again and there was even more - the Debrox had worked so well where we could finally dislodge the remaining quarter-century of wax buildup. This was like upgrading from HD audio to a Dolby Atmos 7.1.2 surround sound system.

I still use this once every couple years just to make sure my ears stay clean.

Check your math.

It's $4.48 after 25% coupon and then 5-20% off. Even with 20% off it would be $3.28 without taxes for the .5oz. That's the exact math Amazon showed me.

Neither do I but this could be an indication we're not part of the Select Amazon Accounts... So YMMV should be in the title

I've had it for years. Well, since the Gulf War and it sucks but you get used to it. Mine apparently was from loud noise which caused some hearing loss. I use background noise like a fan to help. I've never heard of this happening but that's to say it hasn't happened. Those wax removing scoops work really well but if it's bad, I would see a doctor as they can see what they're doing.

Yikes.

That said, I don't know what a social suction machine is. It sounds exciting, though Peace

I have had earwax removed at the doctor's office before. Nurse took a warm syringe to my ear. I had to sign a waiver saying that I understood that eardrum rupture is possible, though unlikely EEK!. About 1 minute in my whole world started spinning because the water was really getting into my ear. I guess what happens is that they push water up against the eardrum and then the pressure of the water starts pushing the earwax out. A HUGE glob of stuff, the size of a pencil eraser, came out. I wanted to kiss that nurse.

I have not done it since but I have used a little syringe kit at home. You don't get much out because I'm unwilling to really force it but the little bit of water (the syringe has a little 3-way attachment that makes the water come out sideways in 3 jets) is enough to open up any clogged ears.

Go on...

j/k I had a similar experience years ago. While using the syringe, very high pain levels until the blockage dislodged and came out. It was instant, 100% pain relief. Was very grateful to the staff.

FYI most people do not need to remove their earwax. Earwax is necessary and important.

I've gone to an urgent care for blocked ear before and they use a similar tool to these, syringe like tool that pushes out the earwax, trip ended up costing like $200. Then a few years ago I had blocked ear again and got one of these bulb kits. It was clearing some stuff the first few times until you squeeze water out at a higher pressure then it'll ACTUALLY start clearing out the wax. When it finally clears out the Wax and all you feel is the warm/hot water in your ear, it feels ORGASMIC. Don't use this to often only when your ears are really blocked, you can damage your ears if water is too hot or water pressure, so use only when really needed. But it DOES work, and it's way cheaper than office visit where nurse basically does the same thing.
