I own this. I wanted to put it in the middle of my monitor so that when I was looking at someone on a zoom I was looking at them in the camera as well. The length of the cable and it's flexibility ultimately didn't work well. It may work better on a laptop (since it's a smaller screen) but there wasn't a great way to get it to stay in the right spot/angle on a monitor, even with an extension of the USB.

Was about to ask the same thing. I can see a use for it with octopi to keep an eye on my 3d printer.
